Hotel heiress, Paris Hilton engaged to her actor boyfriend Chris Zylka after dating for nearly two years.
Zylka popped the question during a ski trip over the weekend while in Aspen, Colorado. The 36-year-old heiress is excited as she shared the news on social media.
‘I am so excited to be engaged to the love of my life and my best friend. I have never felt so happy, safe and loved. He is perfect for me in every way and showed me that fairytales really do exist!’ she gushed.
In the series of pictures posted, Zylka, who starred in The Amazing Spider-Man, can be seen bending down on one knee on a ski slope while presenting her with a $2million pear shaped diamond ring.
The ring designed by Jeweler Michael Greene, features a 20-carat center stone set on a platinum halo band which also features another 2-carats of smaller diamonds.
“Paris is the most beautiful and incredible woman both inside and out. I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be marrying my dream girl,” Zylka, best known for starring in the HBO hit The Leftovers, told People. “I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.”
Hilton and Zylka first met at an Oscars party eight years ago, but reconnected again in 2015.
In March 2016, Hilton told E! News she knew Zylka was ‘The One’.
“I’ve never been surer of anything in my life. He’s so incredible in every way. We’ve actually been friends for a really long time, like the past six years. We just now started being serious in the past few months and it’s really just changed my life in so many ways and brought so much happiness to my life,” the former Simple Life star said. “I feel so safe and he’s so special. We’re best friends and we’re together every minute. I don’t know what else I could ask for. He’s perfect for me.”
Hilton broke off her engagement to Jason Shaw in 2003 and Paris Latsis in 2005 while Zylka ended his engagement to Hannah Beth in 2015.
This will be the first marriage for both stars.
